5 Gadgets That Can Make 2021 Easier For You

Industrial Panel PC

The end of 2020 was celebrated worldwide, with the hope that 2021 would be a much better year. However, the first part of 2021 seems to look very similar to last year. With all of the ongoing challenges that the current crisis presents, we could all do things that make us feel good.

With that in mind, here are a few things that might make your life a little bit easier in 2021.

#1 Sunrise alarm clock

It might not seem like getting out of bed is worth it these days, so when you are rudely awakened by an alarm clock ringing it only makes it worse, However, it can be made infinitely more bearable by replacing your regular alarm clock with a sunrise simulator. It mimics the rising of the sun so you wake up more naturally, and has a range of gentle relaxing sounds that mean you have a much better chance of a good start to the day.

#2 WiFi range extender

It won’t be winter forever, and when summer finally arrives, you are going to want to work or use a laptop or tablet in the garden. If like many, your WiFi signal doesn’t quite go as far as that brilliant shady spot at the end of your garden, then a WiFi extender (or booster) will be very useful. You can then piggyback your wifi signal and binge watch Netflix outside.

#3 Balcony railing desk

In fairness to those who might not have a garden but do have a balcony (even if it is very small), there is also a way you can work in the sun this summer. This hooked shelf hangs over your balcony rail and provides enough room for your laptop, a mouse, a drink, and plenty of snacks. This is also perfect for days you don’t feel like working and you just use it as a breakfast bar instead.

#4 Motorised treadmill

These come in all shapes and sizes and give you the option to get some exercise while you’re watching TV. At times when the weather is too bad to take a walk, or there are other reasons for you not to out, these can provide you with a way to stay active. These come in all shapes and sizes and are much quieter than you might think.

They have LCDs to tell you how you are doing, and all sorts of relays and rotary switches to control a variety of speeds so you can pace yourself. Many also fold away so they don’t have to be a permanent fixture in your living space.

#5 Robot vacuum cleaner

If there have been days when you just didn’t feel like getting off of the sofa, you are not alone. For the days when housework and vacuuming, in particular, take a back seat to your ‘me’ time, then investing in a robot vacuum cleaner could be a good move.

You may actually find watching the little black disc trundling over your floors quite therapeutic, even if it has been known to upset a pet or two at first.
